I’m stoked and honored to share that Eileen Laird over at Phoenix Helix website invited me to participate in her podcast interview series!

Episode 63: Exercise and Autoimmune Disease” posted today.

In this podcast she shares how exercise and autoimmunity have intersected on her own healing journey, and talks to three others about their unique experiences with it. I love that she includes a variety of perspectives – in this podcast, we hear from someone with Rheumatoid Arthritis (Eileen), Multiple Sclerosis (Alissa Frazier), Crohn’s disease (Zach Friedman), and Hashimoto’s disease (me).

Phoenix Helix is one of my favorite resources about autoimmune health and wellness. Eileen writes about a wide range of topics; if you take a look at her archives in the sidebar, you’ll be blown away by the content. In her ongoing podcast series (now at 63 episodes, WOW!) she interviews experts in the field of health and nutrition, as well as individuals living with autoimmune disease themselves.

This website is dedicated to anyone whose autoimmune disease knocked them down so hard they feared they would never rise again. Never underestimate your ability to rise. We all have a phoenix within us!” – from Phoenix Helix website
